Author’s note: So, I've had this idea in my head for awhile and since I got bored working on a collab between my friend and I, I decided to type it up and see what people thought. I hope you guys like it and please let me know how it is!
Tommy stood in a corner, leaning against the wall as he watched the activities before him. Brooke, Cam, Sasha and Lane were sitting with Monte’s wife, Lisa, gushing over how big she had gotten and other things women got excited about when they were at a baby shower.
Yes, Tommy was at the baby shower. It was for Monte and Lisa’s fifth (and last, Monte insisted) child, a little boy. He and Adam had been invited and at first they had politely turned it down, but at the last minute Adam decided to go and dragged his boyfriend along with him.
Tommy smiled quietly at the thought. Boyfriend. The word made his insides flutter. They had been, somewhat, together during the Glam Nation Tour almost a year and a half ago. They had been out to everyone except the press and fans because Tommy wasn’t sure how people would react. Adam had been so good to him, telling him that he would wait as long as he had to, as long as Tommy was with him. After the tour, when Tommy finally had time to think, he decided that he didn’t like hiding his relationship with Adam. So, two months after the tour ended it was common knowledge that he and the singer were officially a couple.
He was brought out of his thoughts by Adam stepping in front of him, holding out a glass of water. He took it, but the fact that there was no alcohol did not improve his feelings on being there. Adam wrapped an arm around his waist pulling him close and kissing him on the forehead.
“What are you thinking about, Glitter Baby?” He asked.
Tommy tilted his head up so that he could look his lover in the eye. “Thinking about how I wish there was alcohol here.”
“Why do you need alcohol?” Adam asked. “Does this have something to do with why you were so against coming?”
Tommy looked away, taking a sip of his water.
“Tommy,” Adam said firmly.
He sighed, “It’s nothing, really.”
He could feel Adam’s eyes boring a hole into his skull and he was trying not to fidget excessively. Suddenly the glass was taken from his hand and was placed on a near-by table. Adam grabbed his hand and drew him out of the room. He was led out to the deserted patio, everyone opting to stay inside instead of out in the dark.
Adam stopped and turned to face him, not letting go of his hand. “What’s going on Tommy?”
“Nothing,” he insisted.
“Bullshit,” Adam claimed. “Tommy…you’ve been acting oddly since we got this invitation. And I know that you haven’t been sleeping all that much either. You spend most of the night out on the balcony. Now I wanna know why, Tommy.”
The blonde still didn’t look at him. Instead he stared up at the night sky, he didn’t see any stars but it was still early.
Adam sighed, dropping his hand and instead running it through his hair, frustrated. He turned his back towards the smaller man and when he spoke there was an obvious hurt tone to it, “Don’t you trust me, baby?”
Tommy immediately wrapped his arms around the man’s torso, burying his face into the muscled back. “Of course I trust you.”
Adam turned around, not leaving the blonde’s embrace, nuzzling the top of his head. “Then why won’t you talk to me about what’s bothering you?”
Tommy sighed. “Because it’s stupid.”
“Obviously it’s not that stupid if it bothers you so much,” the singer said wryly.
Tommy chuckled, “I guess not.” He paused collecting his thoughts, wondering how to tell Adam this without making it sound like too bad. “I’m jealous.”
“Of Monte and Lisa. This is their fifth child and, yeah I’m happy for them, but…it hurts too. Seeing them so happy, it makes me want what they have.”
“You want a family of our own,” Adam said, understanding, pulling him closer. “You want kids.”
Tommy nodded against Adam’s chest.
“I want the same thing Tommy. I was just waiting to talk to you about it. We haven’t been together that long so I was actually expecting to wait another year or so before even discussing it, but if we are both in agreement, then I guess we have some decisions to make. We need to decide if we want to adopt or use a surrogate. If we do the surrogate we need to-”
“No!” Tommy pulled away from him suddenly and looked up at him with glassy, tear-filled eyes. “That’s not what I want!”
“But, Tommy…you said-”
“I want a family of our own. I want kids of our own. I don’t want to adopt or use a surrogate. I want our kids to be all ours. Half you, half me. I want to be able to give you a child 100% ours genetically. I don’t care if it makes me selfish but I don’t want anything half-mast.” As the tears began to fall, Tommy turned away. “I don’t want there to be a doubt in anyone’s mind, yours, mine, our child’s, the world’s, that they are ours.”
Adam’s heart went out to his boyfriend, the smaller man acted tough but he could be very fragile at times. Like now. “You’re not selfish, Tommy,” He said as he drew the man to him again. “I want that too. I’d love to have a little girl with you hair, your face and my eyes running around. She would be the cutest thing ever. But, unfortunately it’s not possible. And maybe it’s for the best.”
Tommy faced him, confused.
He smirked, “Let’s face it, kids with our mixed genetics running around are accidents just waiting to happen. And if any of them inherit my smoldering good looks,” Tommy rolled his eyes, so Adam let his hands wander down the blonde’s backside, “Or you’re cute little butt, we’ll be needing a giant flyswatter to be getting rid of their courters.”
Tommy giggled at the mental image he got of Adam with a giant flyswatter chasing a horde of guys and girls. “That might actually be amusing to watch.”
The singer smiled, glad he managed to cheer his boyfriend up, at least a little bit. He leaned down, so that their noses touched. “But, sadly, until the day comes when it’s possible, we’ll just have to make do with a child who is half of one of us, or neither of ours…genetically at least. Madonna only knows that any kids of ours will be drowning in affection with us as their parents.”
Tommy out right laughed at that and after watching him for a moment, Adam joined in. After the two had caught their breath and Tommy made sure that there was no visible sign that he was crying they headed back inside to watch Lisa open presents.
Adam sat in a chair and pulled Tommy onto his lap, hugging him close. About halfway through the presents the blonde felt the singer’s lips brush his ear as he whispered, “Even if we can’t have a baby of our own, doesn’t mean that we can’t fuck like we’re trying for one.”
Hours later, after they had arrived home and Adam had showed Tommy just what he was talking about, the guitarist stood, dressed in a robe, on their balcony looking up at the star filled sky, doing what he had been doing religiously for the past several nights. Wishing. He was wishing that he could do exactly what he had told Adam. He wanted to have the man’s child. At first when he realized what he wanted it sounded weird to him, but it didn’t take long for him to get used to the idea. After all, he loved Adam with everything he was, he wanted to give the singer everything he wanted.
Tonight was different. He could feel it. Tonight, something different was gonna happen.
And then he saw it. A light blazed across the sky. A shooting star. As soon as he saw it he closed his eyes. ‘I wish Adam and I were able to have a child that was 100% ours.’
When he opened his eyes nothing had changed. He didn’t feel any different or anything. But he still knew that something had happened.
That night, as the couple slept, they were watched by an ethereal being. “You have been quite the determined wisher, young one,” it said. “I am intrigued by your wish and know that you and yours deserve it fully. I will grant your wish, my child. Be happy, wonderful things lie ahead of you.”
The next morning Adam was the first to awake. He tried to stretch but the slim figure using him as a pillow made that difficult. He smiled at the picture the blonde made. He teased Tommy about acting like a kitten, but it was times like this that the man lived up to it. When he shifted the blonde even kneaded his chest a bit, slightly scratching freckled skin with his nails.
Not wanting to disturb his boyfriend, but needing to get up he gave the blonde a shake. “Tommy.”
“Hmm?” He groaned.
“We need to get up. We’re meeting Brad for breakfast, remember?”
Tommy tried to burrow further into Adam’s chest. “Don’ wanna,” he mumbled.
The singer sighed. “Tell you what, if you let me up, I’ll shower and get dressed first, so that you can sleep a little longer. Kay?”
Eyes still closed, Tommy nodded, releasing his boyfriend, but as soon as Adam was free he grabbed the other man’s pillow, burying his face in it, inhaling his scent.
He must have dozed off again, because before he knew it, Adam was shaking him again. He cracked open an eye to find the man fresh and fully dressed.
“You’re turn,” He said pulling the blonde out of bed, knowing that if he left him they would never make it on time. As soon as Tommy was up and turned towards the bathroom, Adam let him go, giving him a little shove and a playful smack on the behind before running out of the room.
Tommy was shaking his head at his boyfriend’s antics. Yawning, he turned the shower on, making it as hot as he could stand it and stripping out of the too-big-for-him shirt he wore to bed. Early on he had made a bad habit of sleeping in Adam’s shirts, the other man never said anything about it, but whenever he saw Tommy swamped in one of the t-shirts he always got this smug look on his face.
Stepping under the hot spray, Tommy let the water relax his muscles, let it soothe all the kinks he had acquired from their…rigorous night. After his muscles had loosened and he was slightly more awake (he never fully woke up until he had had coffee) he grabbed the soap and began the ritual of cleaning the dirt from the day before off his body.
He dipped his fingers in his butt crease, making sure all there wasn’t any dried cum left over. After being tested and cleared, the two had stopped using condoms. A good thing, since even the largest condoms they could find still didn’t fit Adam’s girth.
Tommy groaned at the thought of his boyfriend’s cock, feeling himself harden. Eyes closed, he wrapped a hand around his dick, stroking it while thinking about last night. He moaned, reaching his other hand down to fondle his balls. However, he didn’t find them. He opened his eyes as he began to panic. His balls were gone. He felt farther back but still nothing, instead he found-
His eyes widened in shock.
